Growing to 6-8' tall and 3' wide, this easy to grow large clumping herbaceous perennial is a striking addition to the garden. Deer proof and all parts of the plants are edible with a distinct celery flavour. Excellent as a celery substitute in soups, leaves added to salad and soups, roots eaten as a vegetable and even the seeds can be used as a spice similar to fennel.
