Wenatchee-Moorpark is very cold-hardy and well suited to the west coast wet springs. The fruit is large (peach sized) and oval with yellow skin and flesh that is sweet, fragrant, and juicy- with a classic apricot flavour.
Can be eaten fresh, dried, or canned. The puree can also be used in vinaigrettes or dressings. The tree is a heavy producer, and can grow to be 15–20 ft tall and wide
