Bartlett pears are a cultivar of the European pear and are known for their sweet, aromatic flavour and classic pear shape. Bartlett pear trees are productive and reliable. They bloom in early to mid-spring with creamy white flowers, and produce fruit in late summer to early fall. Bartlett pear trees require cross-pollination with another European pear variety, such as Moonglow or Anjou.
