  • A vining or trailing edible growing to 5-6' tall with thorns. The fruit is quite large, conical and very delicious! Similar tasting to a blackberry - complex, sweet-tart depending on the ripeness. Excellent eaten fresh, and made into pies, jams and jellies. Fruit produces on the vine from mid summer into fall. Grown in similar conditions to a blackberry.

    Trellissing is easier to keep it managed and pruned. Benefits to yearly pruning of old, dead floretted branches.
