Thimbleberry

C$25.00Price

Rubus parviflorus

  • Thimbleberry is a deciduous, perennial shrub native to North America, recognizable by its large, soft leaves and lack of thorns. You'll be delighted with how purely sweet and delectable the thimble shaped deep red berries are, if you haven't yet browsed them while going for a hike.  Thrives in poor soil and damp conditions. Very easy to grow and readily pushes runners to create a wildlife hedge. Grows 3-8' tall.
